i don’t need a man more than i need myself .

any guy to come close to being

close to what would be enough,

would be one that asks me questions,

one that wants to know what i think about this,

because he finds my thoughts exciting, and seperate from every one else’s.

he would evoke an emotion in me that I wouldn’t be afraid of hiding,

that i would come close into rather than push it away.

he will show me feeling so that I am able to feel again.

it’s only pretend because i don’t feel that now.

Thoughts race through my mind as I try to quiet it

What went on that day

and the useless that should hold no purpose

what happened to “Just Being?”

This used to be something I had conquered simply.

Things have changed

What and Why??

Pertinent questions that still remain?

A new location

A new house

A New roommate

and not the college atmosphere that I used to live in

with friends always doors away surrounding me anymore.

Is that a big part of it?

An emptiness inside arrises

When did that begin?

and again I ask why?

Push, push, Push away I try

from emotions,

from people,

from the thought of getting close

to the feeling I do not want to feel

Let Down.

Ouch.

Maybe that is why I try to avoid my emotions

Possibly because I do not want to feel them

I do not want the pain and suffering and tribulations that come along with a hurt heart.

Avoidance works.

In the long run I remember feeling that to feel an emotion so deeply was worth the hurt.

Scared again doesn’t hurt as it did the first time.

This is nice,

first time pain already over and done with

Last night d said how sunrise isn’t so special w/o specil company. R had said sunrise doent mean as much if it’s not shared w/someone. Guess now i’m starting to believe him & I suppose just needed someone else confirming that since it’s not my belief to understnd. Guess I really am just a loner since I enjoy these things seperatedly as well.

Asked to meditation on compassion, I find this hard to do. 1-24-12
To focus my energy and thoughts on an emotion I find hard to distinguish.
Why does this bring me such difficulty?
Why do I not know an emotion that seems universal.
When was the last time I put myself in someone elses shes truly?
I do not even try to
Unempathetic, I am, as I ride off feelings others speak of as undesirable, while I go on with the thankful thought that I myself do not have to experience that pain and suffering that they speak about.
Has my fortune allowed me to totally disconnect myself from the world?
Why don’t I feel the universal emotion of compassion?

COMPASSION- why do things that make us feel good get taken away? what is something that brought you joy that was taken away from you? Why do we have to suffer?

When I think of suffering, I think of the strength that is built up from it. Does that have to do with my optimistic approach? Instead of feeling how bad it hurts I think of how strong the person becomes from going through the specific suffering. Maybe that’s why my skin’s tough. Strength arrises from trials and tribulations. One grows. One becomes.
